HE Games Production Course Leader

Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies (CICT) is a forward thinking centre of learning. CICT is part of the Confetti Media Group, which is owned by Nottingham Trent University increasing the opportunities for growth and success over the coming years.

We want you to join our team of course leaders to help deliver and develop our HE Games Production curriculum. You will take responsibility for the management of our current, well-established BSc and FdSc Games provision. From coordinating resources and managing student activities to developing industry links and course marketing, our course leaders are at the core of the student experience.

If you are a passionate educator with experience in the computer games industry and would relish the opportunity to develop a unique and engaging curriculum and have the expertise outlined below then we are keen to meet you.

Industry specific experience, skills and knowledge required for this role are

  • Up to date knowledge of Games industry and business models
  • Experience of practices and workflow in the industry
  • Experience of higher education curriculum design
  • Experience of 2D and 3D software relevant to Games Technology, including 3D asset production
  • A high level of understanding of historical and contemporary theory and practice in games design and implementation
  • Experience of the use of Games Engines

Our course leaders are at the heart of our education management team so applicants will need to have a proven track record of managing people and curriculum within an education environment.

It’s essential that you are conversant with current professional practices within your field of expertise. You will also have experience of teaching and/or managing in further and/or higher education. You will also be educated to at least degree level and will hold a recognised teaching qualification. If you have the attitude and desire to work in varied, dynamic environment and believe in industry shaping vocational provision then we can guarantee you will play a key role in our success.
