Level 3 Graphics and Digital Design Course Leader

Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies (CICT) is a forward thinking centre of learning, home to the very best technology, studios, equipment and industry-connected tutors. Now in our 25th year, we provide a vibrant and professional learning environment for over 1600 passionate and committed students studying for careers in the creative industries. In 2015 the Confetti Media Group was acquired by Nottingham Trent University, increasing the opportunities for growth and success over the coming years. We are currently undergoing an exciting campus transformation, part of a £12m development programme.


We are after passionate, gifted and creative course leader to manage, lead and teach on our Level 3 Graphic and Digital Design Programme. You will have clear and innovative ideas around recruitment and course development and a clear understanding of the current landscape for graphic and digital design.

Our course leaders are at the heart of our education management team so applicants will need to demonstrate a clear understanding of how to manage both people and curriculum within an education environment.

The industry specific experience, skills and knowledge required for this role are:

  • An understanding of graphic and digital design and associated technologies and software.
  • A familiarity with postproduction software packages such as Illustrator, In-Design, Photoshop and After Effects.
  • An awareness of traditional art and design skills.

From planning lessons and preparing resources to delivering enriching sessions and activities, and supporting students through group and individual tutorials, you will have a passion and vision for graphic and digital design within the further education environment.

It’s essential that you are conversant with current professional practices within your field of expertise. You will also be educated to degree level and hold a recognised teaching qualification. You will have experience of teaching at further and/or higher education.
