Marketing and Events Coordinator

We’re looking to recruit a passionate events specialist to manage and develop a wide range of exciting events for Confetti Media Group (CMG).

With excellent project management skills and a creative approach to work, you’ll lead on a number of key events for Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies (CICT). These will include student recruitment events, plus other high-profile events and activities such as our ‘Do it for Real’ Industry Week and end of year showcases. Alongside this, you’ll have the chance to support other CMG events throughout the year.

Customer-centric and someone who enjoys working with people, you will also be responsible for developing and managing our Student Ambassador scheme.

With a hands-on approach, you will have the opportunity to experience and contribute to all elements of an event – from planning and co-ordinating, right through to creating copy and assets for marketing and communications.

You will receive a generous holiday allowance starting at 28 days per year, plus bank holidays and Christmas closure, as well as access to a range of other employee benefits, including our travel discounts and our healthcare cash plan.

Confetti Media Group is part of Nottingham Trent University, and consists of Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies, our further and higher education provider; Spool, our post-production, film and TV company; our live event venue, Metronome; our creative business centre; Antenna Media Centre; and our furniture design and installation company, Constellations. We are a key partner in Nottingham’s TV channel Notts TV and are at the forefront of developments within the Creative Quarter.

Confetti is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure application to the Disclosure & Barring Service.
