As a Receptionist you will manage the reception desk of one of our four city centre sites on a rotational basis. We have receptions based at our busy education centres (Metronome, Digital Media Hub and Space 2) and at Antenna, our thriving business hub in heart of the creative quarter. This is a great opportunity to join our friendly reception team during an exciting time for the organisation.
As a Receptionist you will ensure the reception area is presentable and provide a professional service to students, guests, tenants and staff. This will involve overseeing signing in procedures, handle incoming calls, manage visitors, dealing with client bookings, handling queries and carry out a range of admin duties. Our reception team play a key role in making sure operations run smoothly.
You must have experience of working in a people facing role coupled with a good telephone manner and excellent MS Office skills. Able to use your initiative and prioritise your work, you are calm under pressure and possess a confident and assertive manner. Happy to work on your own you are flexible and enjoy being busy. Ideally you will have an understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures, or be willing to undertake training.
Our receptions are open from 7.30am to 10.30pm, the daytime shifts are 7.30am-4.00pm and 8.30am-5pm on a rotational basis. You must be flexible as there will be events, open days and additional shifts to cover at times.
We have a number of contract options available including Full Time and Part Time for the daytime and evening shifts. Please indicate on your application which contract you would be applying for.
