Security Officer (2 Years Fixed Term)

We are recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Security Officer to join our Estates department. You will be joining a friendly, hardworking and diverse team at a time of unprecedented growth and expansion in the history of Confetti Media Group.

A newly created position, as Security Officer, you will effectively manage and lead our third-party security team. Providing a reassuring, visible and professional presence across our estate. Ensuring the security of our students, employees, members and guests, who utlitise our facilities on a daily basis. In addition you will support our Health and Safety Officer, ensuring all relevant H&S procedures are followed and systems are updated as required.

To be considered, it is essential that you hold a relevant, current Security Industry Authority door supervisor and front line license. You will have experience of working in building security, ideally in an educational environment. With demonstrable knowledge of effective conflict resolution, with the ability to diffuse situations in a calm and empathetic manner. Ensuring confidentiality and safeguarding procedures are followed at all times, in line with internal policy and wider legislation. Ideally you will hold a current first aid qualification, or be willing to work towards one.
