For the past 30 years, Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies has delivered pioneering creative education aligned to the entertainment industries. Part of the award-winning Nottingham Trent University, voted ‘University of the Year’ at the Whatuni Student Choice Awards 2023, Confetti is a talent pipeline from specialist Higher Education into high skilled jobs in the UK creative economy.
The Institute offers vocationally-focused degrees in music, events, esports, media, and games at undergraduate and postgraduate level, and over the past three decades, Confetti alumni have gone on to work for big brands in the music, TV, film and gaming industries – including Warner Brothers, BBC and Bauer Media, and working behind the scenes of hit TV shows like Ted Lasso and successful video game franchises like Grand Theft Auto.

Our Nottingham campus provides a vibrant and professional learning environment for over 2500 passionate and committed students studying for college, undergraduate, and postgraduate qualifications in areas including music, events, esports, media, and games.
Our unrivalled world-class facilities include Confetti X – a £5million complex for esports and emerging technologies, and Metronome – a national centre for music, moving image, video games, live performance, and spoken word.
Confetti is well known for its industry connections and partnerships all of which help create opportunities for our students to put their learning into practice to “Do It For Real”. Every year, hundreds of learners work on high-level productions, including UNIVERSITY Esports UK & Ireland tournaments, BBC Music Introducing shows, and Splendour Festival, the East Midlands’ biggest and best outdoor festival.

A growing generation of young people in London and the South East are looking to enter vocational education, and located in Whitechapel, London’s centre for the creative industries, our new campus has just what they need to launch them into their careers.
Launched in 2023 and replicating the success of our award-winning Nottingham facilities, Confetti London is a high-end digital and multipurpose campus.
Nestled in one of the fastest growing, densely populated, young and diverse London boroughs, Confetti London includes a flexible 600 capacity venue, which will host live music, entertainment and esports, along with specialist studios and teaching spaces.
Students looking to forge a future in the entertainment industries can study hands-on courses in performance, production and business for the music industries, event management, and emerging technologies such as esports, virtual production, and content creation.
Courses are open to both UK and international students, with undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications available.
Our growth plans for London are focused on building and maintaining a quality provision.
